The Barossa is a world-class region of fine wine endeavour based on a unique story of generations, inheritance and hallowed ground. The Barossa is a home to some of the oldest Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon vineyards in the world. Although Barossa is famous for its Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon has been a classic red grape variety in the region. The beginning of the autumn in the Barossa Valley, in March, is often the time period for the grape harvest. |
